A card box or any container, even a wallet can be shown. Clearly too small to drop a pool ball from.... but that's exactly what happens. A black eight ball drops from the box into their hands, you then hold the ball and visibly squash it almost flat. Still examinable, you then drop the now flat ball back in your box or wallet. Real cartoon style magic.
